Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American performer and actress. She has received best-recognition for her roles in Nashville, the 2012 drama, in which she played Layla Grant. She also received the award for Sharknado 2013 where she was Claudia Shepard. In addition, she had the role of the title character in the film Jem and the Holograms, (2015). Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary, Florida by her mother and father Wendy as well as Ashley. There is a sibling named Ally. While growing up Aubrey was a part of her school's Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. The valedictory speech she delivered was that of her school in Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University initially accepted her application, but they later voted to allow her in for an additional entry after she was chosen to play 'Nashville'. Peeples appeared on the screen in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011, Grey's Anatomy (2005) as and Grey's Anatomy (2005). Peeples also played a frequent part in Necessary Rustness (1991). The actress appeared on TV in Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective 2009 and The Good Mother. In the second season, she was cast as Layla Grant in the Nashville drama. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder during an interview in 2019 in NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples in September 2014 as one of the top American young actors.
